Dana K Macalik, President

Dana brings a successful sales, marketing and business development background experience to the Chamber. She was associated with Taylor Publishing and Balfour Class Rings in various management positions. Her roots run deep in the county; she is a 4th generation. Her family were cotton and ranching families in the Heath and Rockwall area. Her grandfather retired from the City of Heath as the first Chief of Police and her father served as a Rockwall County Constable for over 16 years. She sold real estate locally and was able to utilize her marketing spectrum of professional and customer service experiences to achieve success in our residential market. She has been active in many community and youth-related organizations and currently serves on the Executive Board for the American Cancer Society-Relay For Life- Rockwall. Dana holds a BA degree from Sam Houston State University with an emphasis in Marketing. Dana is married to Jeff Macalik and they have four grown children.

Dana states, “It is truly a pleasure to serve the businesses and residents of the Rockwall Area. We have a wonderful place to work, play and call home. This community has all the necessary ingredients for the achievements we have experienced and I will do whatever I can to make certain the Chamber of Commerce is contributing to our collective success.”

Paula Kerr, Events/Public Relations Manager

Paula joined the Chamber in January of 2011. Prior to the Chamber, Paula worked as a Legal Assistant to Susan Wright, Attorney/Mediator. She has been a resident of Rockwall since 1998. Paula has been an active volunteer at various Rockwall schools during the past 12 years, as well as an active member of Rockwall Women’s League.

Sue Norwood, Receptionist

Sue moved from Forney to Rockwall in 1975 and found it an excellent place to raise two children. Prior, she completed 3 years of college at East Texas State University and graduated from Tarleton State College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. After 32 years in the teaching profession (28 of those being with RISD), she retired. In 2006, Sue took the part-time position as the front desk receptionist.

Pat Moore, Receptionist

Pat and husband, Jim, have lived in Rockwall since 1980 and have two grown children. Having a Bachelors Degree in Music and a Masters of Education, she retired from Rockwall ISD and the teaching profession after 27 years. She joined the staff of the Chamber in early 2006.
