Tommy Baugh started his broadcast career in 1975 at KZTV in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He moved to Dallas in 1979 to work at KDFW TV (a CBS station then, but currently FOX 4)
During his 22 years at KDFW TV, he covered many events and helped to build their very first SNG truck.

Election night in Hope, AK (covering Bill Clinton)
Election night in Austin, TX (covering George W Bush)
1993 – sent to WACO, TX to cover the David Koresh and the Branch Davidians (spent 6 weeks there)
Covered many Cowboys Training Camps in Oxnard, CA
Stars Training camp in Vail, CO
Travel with news crew for the “Salute Texas” campaign (toured all over Texas and aired “live” the 5, 6, and 10 pm show from a different location each night)
Traveled to Cartagena, Columbia for the Drug Summit
18-month-old Jessica McClure falls down a 22 foot well and rescued 58 hours later.
In 2001, Tommy moved into a management position at WFAA-TV, Channel 8 (the local ABC affiliate). While working at WFAA, he supervised the transition to HD television, moving from tape to server base video editing and the building of the Victory Studio’s located near the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
In April 2016, Tommy decided to take early retirement from his 41-year career in Broadcast TV to start a new adventure with NTX Indoor Digital Billboards.
He is using his broadcast skills and knowledge to help local businesses brand, promote and advertise using indoor digital billboards.
